I'm e-mailing the senator and spreading the word. Dubya's going to be on the tube tonight telling all of us to call up our reps and push this war thing =P Be nice if we found ourselves a man that could out last Strom Thrumond for the longest filibuster on the senate floor ;)
Senator Robert Byrd (D-WV) is considering a filibuster of the Senate's Iraq vote. He has encouraged people around the country to contact him: DC office #: 202-224-3954; Charleston office #: 304-343-7144; fax #: 304-343-7144; and his email: senator_byrd@byrd.senate.gov. Call him, email him, fax him, let him know that you oppose this war and that you want him to block the vote. Contact other members of Congress as well, even if you have done so already. Spread this mission across the internet, get your friends to call and email this rogue government. People around the world should contact Senator Byrd and other members of Congress as well--this effects you as well, and they need to know that. Also, continue to spread the word about the peace pledge.
