Okay, those SUVs - particularly Yukons I've noted - that have the "Keep Tahoe Green" bumper stickers? Please tell me that's meant to be ironic. Because I can accept cruel irony over total fucking cluelessness.

While I'm on the subject of cluelessness, I've noted how many yuppies at the farmer's market are rude and pissed off most of the time. The market is located in Cherry Creek, which is one of the more exclusive subdivisions of Denver. The atmosphere is radically different from some of the other farmer's markets. The only reason I go there is that it's the largests in Denver that's somewhat close to where I live(the others are very tiny). But damn, I have been pushed out of the way for a good onion. I have seen people not move from a spot and spread out so that it's impossible to get around them and purchase anything. I have seen people haggle over a .50 cent cabbage. In Cherry Creek! That's like getting pissed off you had to pay $1/gallon on gas. The vendors are all nice enough, but the cliental is the snobbiest group of assholes. What happened to our sense of community? I just want to shake them and say "Look pal, we're all in this together. You'll get your damn veggies even if you're nice. Swear to God there's enough good ones for all of us."

Still, I like going there each Saturday morning for my weekly allotment of fresh, organically grown veggies. The taste is amazing.
