Denver Blizzard - DIA

I just got home from Denver International Airport after spending the last 30 hours there. Some of you know I was bound for Ohio on the 20th - wanted to let you know that I'm okay, but trapped in Colorado. The soonest they can get me out is Christmas day. I'll write about this more later after I've had time to collapse and die for a day. Thus far I can say; Worst. Experience. Ever. DIA totally sucks. I'm seeing all this footage on TV now of the Red Cross handing out supplies - if they were, I never saw it. It was never announced they were there. We got blankets from guest services. Some people got cots, but there weren't nearly enough. A few hundred cots for many thousands of people. I had to huddle on the granite floor. At noon today I was finally able to find a cab willing to go out to my area for $60 - cheap, considering most were charging more than double for that. The cab got me most of the way and then I had fling luggage over snow banks and roll myself through them to get the rest of the way home. What a war story though.

My family back in Ohio and Lisa have been FABO! They kept me sane through all of this. Thanks guys :)
