One step closer...

Today I received word back from Greg who is the second reader on my thesis. He gave feedback! Better than feedback, he gave me useful feedback! I can work with this stuff. Woohoo! I've got two pages of comments and a list of additional books to check into as well as an annotated hardcopy of the thesis itself. Granted, in the normal world this would be common, but as I'm still waiting for Carl to say anything on it, this is a miracle. Best of all, Greg LIKED it!

Overall, good job! You’ve got things well in hand. The manuscript is unusually clean. You are well on your way to completing your work!

Everything I've done so far on it has been completely on my own. So I'm very proud of this accomplishment. Now I just need to make the adjustments and additions. I know I can, I know I can...

That is EXCELLENT news, darling. Woo hooooooooooooooo! I know exactly how you feel - getting feedback from my MA adviser was like pulling hens' teeth, and when he actually did get around to giving me some notes or whatever, it was great. It made me feel I could finish the damn thing.

Enjoy this feeling - Goddess knows, you deserve it. :-)
